European Road Trip :: Day 3 :: Playmobil Funpark

We went back to the Playmobil Funpark the next day and let the boys decide where they wanted to spend their time. We packed bathing suits and it was a bit more of a water day than our first day, which was fun for them. It's pretty much 1/2 waterpark, depending on which parts you visit!

Fun Figures
~ inside the front gate

The Enchanted Forest
~ we were here the first day too! This part is amazing... hard to capture with pictures, there is a tree fort, and a river that runs through this field. To the 'north' of the river there are 4 large sea shells which release small plastic toys that the kids can collect to take home! It's completely free, and you have the option to buy (1Euro) these fun seashells to collect your treasures in as well. We have heard that some days the wait is over an hour, but the weather was a bit unpredictable and it was early in the morning and our boys were pretty much the only ones there!!!

River Splash Area
~ this was just a fun place for the boys to jump, run & play

Splash Pad Area
~ this was also a super creative area, with fountains, and all kinds of things for the kids to play with and move (waterwheels, spinners, plastic parts that looked like whales)

Noah's Ark
~ we went back to this gigantic water table area and the kids played for like an hour! it was actually one of the most relaxing places for parents as there are benches all around and the kids were super engaged by all of the toys!

Special treats on day #2 included ice cream & making your own playmobil figure! For 1 Euro, you could choose legs, top, head, hair and accessories and make your own figurine. Our boys each made one (and so did I!) I wish i had got better pictures of our boys figures, but managing 3 little guys with that kind of activity is pretty much a full time (no camera!) type of job :)

If you have any questions leave them in the comments and i'll try to get back to you. We totally recommend visiting the Playmobil Funpark if you are ever in Germany! We rented a place through airbnb ~ https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/8705810. If you sign up through this link you get $17 credit towards your stay {and so do we for our next family vacation)!
