A Bushel of Apples

So I've still yet to find an apple orchard to pick apples at with our family... but let's face it - our kids are 2 1/2 and 14mths... they're not going to be picking many apples yet! But what we did find was this really amazing farmer's market (targpiast) in our new hometown of Wrocław, where we got this crate of apples (15kilo!) for just 30zl/$10. Our boys are eating up apple sauce like crazy these days and i'm in the mood for some apple crunch muffins and apple pies, so i thought this would be perfect! It made for some fun pictures too! Do you pick apples with your family in the fall? What are your favourite apple recipes?!
