Hidden in their Hearts

There are some things you just don't have a clue about before you have kids...

sleepless nights...

sippy cups...

children's tv shows...

so i'm just at the beginning of this journey of how to teach and train my kids minds and help them discover the world. oh how i long to protect them from evil and all the bad but even more i long to teach them to love Jesus, knowing that He alone can protect them from the evil one and help them to be shining lights in this broken world, that so badly needs to be made new.

i know that music is a great way to teach children biblical truths... because somehow we just remember songs. Here are a few cd's i have and a few i hope to get soon...

1. Hidden In My Heart: A Lullaby Journey Through Scripture
- love the music on this and have been meaning to get it for a while! There's also a second volume :)

2. Sing Over Me: Worship Songs & Lullabies
- got this when our first son was born and still love listening to it with them in the quiet moments while nursing or before bed...

3. My Father's World
- sweet music and songs i know but in a nice, lullaby form for peaceful moments. full of biblical truths...

4. The Village: Kids - Jesus Came To Save Sinners
- from the church i attended in Dallas, TX. solid gospel message and fun kids music!

5. Kids - Blessed is the Man
- new one out from the village church... can't wait to hear it all!

What music do you listen to with your kids? Do you have any suggestions for our family?
