What a joy it was to have my parents visit us over the Easter break. It's been almost a year since they've seen Lucas and he is at such a fun age these days! We were able to visit the Easter Market, go to Lucas' favourite park, and the zoo!
Lucas' showed grandma and grandpa his favourite bread rings and a really fun Ukrainian restaurant ~ Ukrainski Smak. Lucas is 1/8th Ukrainian, because Grandma Davis' grandma came to Canada from near Lviv, Ukraine! Grandma Davis' Ukrainian borscht tastes almost identical to the soup in the restaurant!
And we celebrated the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world... and that God himself has provided the lamb [John 1.29, Gen 22.8]! He is Risen! Zmartwychwstał! (polish ~ literally 'from the dead he rose')
