Aside from the semi-traditional advent calendars i found this on a blog and thought it would be a fun way to enjoy the Christmas season and our friends and family while we are in Canada this December:

  • Exchange gifts
  • Make Christmas Cookies for friends.
  • Find Mistletoe, hang it in our house and kiss under it.

  • Leave out wooden shoes on December 5
  • Go to the Oakland Temple to see the Nativity

Thanks for all the great ideas, Krista. I love the baby stocking advent calendar. I'm making one out of little mittens to hang across the fireplace. Enjoy these days of preparing for many good things. :)
